Loneliness : a serious mental breakdown

Loneliness is a feeling that most people experience at some point in their lives. It is a state of mind where one feels disconnected from others, lacking social interaction, and feeling empty or unwanted. While it is normal to feel lonely from time to time, prolonged loneliness can have negative effects on a person's mental and physical health. According to a recent report by the US Surgeon General, loneliness is a public health crisis. The report highlights that loneliness can lead to a greater risk of cardiovascular disease, dementia, anxiety, depression, and even suicide. It is also associated with poor sleep quality, weakened immune systems, and increased inflammation. Loneliness can manifest in different ways with different people.
